These last two months have been filled with ministry opportunities for us and for several people who have come from the U.S. to join in what God is doing here. We appreciate your prayers and partnership as we go forward in ministry to the people of Nicaragua. God is raising up mature and bold believers to follow His commands and live for His glory!
2 day Pastors’ Conference in San Dionisio
At the beginning of May, we were blessed to have Billy, Tommy, and Ron teach a Pastors’ Conference to 24 pastors/church leaders from 17 churches we are working with in the San Dionisio area. Pastor Humberto and Quevit helped to invite the pastors and leaders and Quevit translated for the 2 day conference. These pastors are committed to working together in ministry to change lives for eternity. We have plans to meet with the pastors at the end of June to coordinate ministry for the remainder of the year.
Bible Study/Discipleship
After several years of needing to meet in the hotel, we are finally able to host everyone in our home. The discipleship group meets every Friday night and the Bible study group meets every Sunday afternoon. It’s a privilege to meet each week to study God’s Word and guide them into a mature faith that they can live according to His purpose for their lives.
Evangelism Training and Roll Out
We continue to follow God as He leads us into providing resources, training, and implementation of evangelism, new believer training, discipleship, and biblical counseling. We began the training portion at the start of March and effective in May, we began our outreach in the communities of Matagalpa, San Dionisio, Solingalpa, and Santa Emilia. We are providing each church and pastor with Believe by Randy Frazee ( in Spanish) to teach the new believers what they believe, how to live what they believe, and how Christ will be manifested in and through their life.
Healthy Neighbors International - Smokeless Stoves
Healthy Neighbors International purchased 40 smokeless stoves - 20 for people in the community of San Dionisio and 20 for the people in the community of Piedras Largas. They were purchased from Avanza Ecocina Factory in Estela, Nicaragua. It is such a blessing for the people to have a healthier and more efficient way to cook. Thank you HNI!

Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church Mission Team
We hosted the team from Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church out of Knoxville,TN from May 23 - June 1. This year they came prepared to serve with us in the areas of evangelism training and outreach, children’s ministry, to minister to and connect with our discipleship group, Bible study group, and university students. They are always a blessing as they come with hearts prepared and a mature faith to serve and teach. Thank you, Chilhowee!
